Mana Ngāti Whātua: Core value for November, December

Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Whātua are guided by these three core values:

Mana Ngāti Whātua: 1. REO-Whakapumautia Te Reo o Ngāti Whātua (Māori language) 2. MUA-Kia mau tonu ngā tikanga o ngā Tūpuna (Cultural Heritage) TOI-Kia mau tonu ngā Mahi Toi o Ngā Tūpuna (Arts and Creativity).

Manaakitanga: 1. IHI – Kia mau tonu Te Ihihi me Te Wanawana (Intrinsic wellness) 2. AKO-Kia whakamakuku Te kakano o Te Mātauranga (Education) 3. ORA-Kia pai tonu Te Noho Ora o Ngāti Whātua (Health and Social Development)

Kaitiakitanga: 1. HAU-Kia noho pai tonu Te Mauri o ngā Rangi (Air quality, airwaves) 2. TAI-Kia noho pai tonu Te Mauri o Te Moana (Marine-based activities) 3. HUA-Kia noho pai tonu Te Mauri o te Whenua (Land-based)
