Education Grants
Education grants are available to people registered on the Ngāti Whātua roll. Grants are available to assist with boarding school fees, and also for those undertaking tertiary study at a university, polytechnic or PTE.
Conditions for receiving a grant require a student to:
- be of Ngāti Whātua descent
- registered on the Iwi roll
- an endorsement from one of the 35 recognised Ngāti Whātua marae to which the student is affiliated
Grants can assist with boarding school fees, and tertiary study at a university, polytech or PTE.
